How To Seal And Encapsulate Fine And Chunky Glitter with D&G HEMA Free Builder In A Bottle

Application  (If your designs are on acrylic or gel nails start at step 3)

Step 1. Prep the nails the same way as the gel polish application process.

Step 2. Apply a layer of Base Coat and cure.

Step 3. Apply your Gel Colour and cure.

Step 4. Apply a layer of Base Coat and cure.

FINE GLITTER

Step 5. With a small glitter brush, apply your favourite fine glitter. Brush off the excess.

Step 6. Apply a layer of Builder In A Bottle and cure.  This will seal and encapsulate the glitter. 

CHUNKY GLITTER

Step 5. Using a small amount of Builder In A Bottle on the tip of an orange wood stick, pick up pieces of chunky glitter and arrange it onto the nail.

Step 6. Apply a layer of Builder In A Bottle and cure.  This will seal and encapsulate the glitter. You may need to apply a second layer if the glitter isn't fully sealed. 

THE FOLLOWING STEPS DEPEND ON WHICH TOP COAT YOU PREFER:

Standard Top Coat

Step 7. Apply a layer of Standard Top Coat and cure. 

Step 8. Wipe away the tacky layer with Isopropyl Alcohol.

No Wipe Top Coat

Step 7. Wipe away the tacky layer with Isopropyl Alcohol.

Step 8. Apply a layer of No Wipe Top Coat and cure.

Cure time for Builder In A Bottle is 1 minute in a 36 - 48 watt LED lamp.  2 minutes in a UV lamp.

D&G HEMA Free Builder In A Bottle will produce a tacky dispersion layer once cured.  You will need to wipe over this layer with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove it. 

D&G Builder In A Bottle is a soak off formula.  It takes approximately 5-6mins to remove.

TIP: Cleanse the tacky dispersion layer before applying No Wipe Top Coat and before filing and buffing.
